As you look at the potential band members, look at how well they get along. Many groups have fallen apart because of interpersonal conflicts. Make sure your expectations are similar. Is one band member looking for something to do on the weekends, while another wants this to be a full-time career?

Once you have a professional sounding CD, you can market your band. In addition to sending it to recording studios, start marketing locally by sending it to area clubs, DJs, event and wedding planners, and entertainment industry professionals.
